how do you remove window handle?

im taking the door panel off to fix the dent in my passenger side door, i have everything pretty much off but i cant seem to figure out how to take the manual window handle off. is there a snapring or something?

You just have to try to see or feel for the clip. The clip looks like this. You will need to push on one of the "ears" on the open end.

The tools are fairly cheap and you can get them at most auto part stores.
ok thanks, and yeaa it looks cheap but i dont think any auto parts stores are open at 7am when i go to boces lol
 
The screwdriver works fine but you'll probably have to use two. When you try to push on one side of the clip it will want to just spin in that direction. Use another screwdriver to hold the other side :mrgreen:

A "short" drive from New York, lol. The clip can't spin without popping off anyway so it'll work either way, just be careful not to scratch your door panel.

WoW haha, you are right. There is a groove on each side that the clip sinks into to hold the handle. I am going to bed so I don't offer any more wrong information for the night 8)
