This is my last stage to complete the car, and i really want to know how dose the painless wiring would work? Is it easy ? Or should i pay someone one to do it?

can you guys give me a part number on which one should i buy ??
Please help with input and links
Dose any one have any pictures of there painless install,,

your headlite and horn wiring is in one harness that is connected to the back of the fuse box just under your wiper motor. There are two harness there, one for the engine which is on the side closer the the middle of the car and the harness for the lites and horn....the wiring for your rear lites are connected the the left side of the fuse box and travel into the trunk area, there is another connection in the left rear corner of the trunk, since you don't have a trunk I guess it would be in that area in the quarter panel cavity . The wires to the rear lites are aluminum so be gentle with them

for the defroster switch make sure the connection that you'll find close to the front of the passenger side valve cover with the other lead coming from over the wheel well area...

for the gauges make sure the connection from the senders are good and then I'd take the cluster out and make sure the contact points are in good shape and tale a look at the circuit board...

radio...check the fuse and wiring...

as far as the harnesses I'd get OEM harness and replace they ones you have if you need to.... It's not a hard job

Thanks pontiacgp,
good info, i will try working on that, but just in case i cant do it, what state are u from? maby i should make a trip to get it fixed from u
thanks buddy

I'm the the northn state called canada...lol

I just put my car back together so I can still remember the wiring but ask me again in 6 months and I might draw a blank..

i cant say for painless wiring (im cheap i got a qwick wire set up and wish i had spent the extra) but when my wife and i re did my wagon it turned out well. we made a few mistakes and it took about 3 days. the only thing i would recomend is lay every thing out on the floor and zip tie or rap the wires how you plan to run them in the car. then run every thin in the car get it all tied down and place where it needs to be befor you make any conections or cut any thing. it also might be a good idea to seporate the gauges or dash in to is own removeale harness with conections, i wish i had. also i printed and read through the instructions for the harness i get and painless and jegs and a few street rodder mags be for we did mine ( i have to look like i know what im doing in front of the wife.)
