how many hurst olds and 442s do you think are left? allot of them over the years have been wrecked, caught on fire(friend from back in the day lol) rotted out, parted out.... there was arond 3000 of the hursts made for 2 years, around 3000 85 442s and around 4000 each 86 and 87 442s. my guess is half?

Even the one's that are still on the road . . . most are basket cases. These cars were usually used and abused, with a few exceptions of course.

I see so many parted out 83-84 hursts and 85-86 442's on ebay, craigslist. It's crazy. It seems there are more well preserved 1987 442's around, for some reason, idk. Maybe in 1987 people knew they'd be the last rwd 442's, so they bought them as collectibles.

i agree with that there does seem to be a lot of 87 442s left, im on my third one in 7 years. i think the hurst/olds are a bit harder to find, i dont see many 85 442s around especially the white ones. about 75% of the hurst/olds or 442s i run across for sale are pretty beat i would assume as well there is only about half of what was made left. (also have to figure there are a few clones out there)

I think there are still a lot of H/O's left. I know of 10 in my area that range from mint to nice driver. Also 2 parts cars. West coast

not too many left, that's why i'll try my best to keep my 85' 442 in good shape.
the less 442s and hurst/olds out there the better it is for us who own one

you got that right.. do you still own the black 442?
yes i do, still sitting in my garage waiting for the engine to get done at the machine shop. (a ring broke, long story) but hopefully it will be on the road here in a couple months or less
