The only way you will COMPLETELY change the transmission fluid is to remove and dismantle it and fit a new torque converter. 😀
However if your transmission is working fine dropping the pan and replacing the filter is all you need to do. how often you need to do this depends on what you use the car for. Frequently towing a heavy trailer or standing on the gas pedal for example means changing it more often, if you use it for long leisurely highway cruising then you can leave it for longer intervals.
