What would be the best way to have myself a good roof do I put old piece back on or do I jus start looking for a t top..I have a set up in the trunk right now with 2 pumps and 6 batteries I don't want the car to fall apart just changing rims with the car lifted on one side I couldn't get the driver door open until I set it back down and even then I had to kinda push down then pull..what do I do?

GM put the minimum amount of material and labor into the G-body frames. Simple stamped sheetmetal C-channel between the front and rear frame segments. The body is actually a structural member, so cutting the targa roof undermined your car's structure. If you plan to keep the hydraulics, I would not put in T-tops - not enough material to resist twisting - although it's pretty slick that you don't need a floor jack to change a tire. I'd find a whole 'nother body to mount on your stunt chassis. One with an uncut solid roof. Or, box the side frame rails pretty significantly.

OH CRAP!!!! To quote a movie, 'it feels like a need a tetanus shot just looking at it...'
Seriously, if you can scrape up the resources and time, Jose and I might be able to find a local rust-free Cutlass for you to tow home and start over.

Yea if that's the best bet than I'll go that route I was gonna chop off the whole windshield piece and look for a t top piece with the a pillars n weld it to the back one since it's still good but whatever is better because ima keep the hydrolics

Where is home, and do you have resources to load a car and pull it home? I'd start surfing Craigslist in Denver, Albuquerque, Phoenix, Las Vegas, etc.
