when I did my 87 GN I had a muffler shop custom build a 3 inch stainless, no cats and a what they called a old fashion echo boxes...It did sound nice but still no V8 sound. Not sure what it did to performance because the day after I got it back I had a offer I couldn't refuse on it and sold it.
