Rant on. Kids are really lacking these days. I have the original V6 listed locally that came out of the GP. Spelling out the year and the carb, ect. I have had three young kids show up looking a 96+ fuel injected engine for a firebird. They don't know what a carburetor is. Then they look at me and say that wont fit my car!!!

Agreed, Im almost ashamed to say that Ill be 21 soon. I can't stand most kids these days. I've been screwed over a couple times. Once a kid gave me a wrong address that was over an hour away than called and said he changed his mind he wants to keep the engine. Another doubled the price on a set of Weld draglites after I pulled in with cash in hand and a set price already agreed on.

Couldnt agree more. Sold a roller cutlass on craigslist a few weeks back. Was listed as ROlLER. No motor or trans. Had 2 people come look at it and say. But it has no motor or trans. I was like WTF do you think no motor or trans means or ROLLER. :wtf: :blam:

Update! I may have hit a lucky spot. I pulled the 700R4 out to look it over and find out what model it was to start gathering parts. I bought it from a wrecked Camaro to use as a core to rebuild. It was extremely clean compared to the engine in the wreck, come to find out it is a replacement transmission. It has a rebuilders tag on it and a new converter. The inside of the pan is completely clean, not even a dark film of clutch material like all trannys have. I think I'm going to put a Transgo 700-2-3 kit and some hard parts and try It out.
