Got the engine out so im getting rid of the old mounts. They have 4 bolts each but they just keep spinning, and arent unthreading. Is there a nut on the inside of the frame?

There is a nut on the bottom side of the frame you can get to it with a box end wrench going through the openings in the front of the crossmember. Normally I grind them off and replace with new grade 8 bolts.

4 bolts? Are these v6 mounts? Idk what the v6 mounts look like. My v8 frame pads had 3 bolts

Box wrench 15 degree offset for the two top ones through the oval hole on the front crossmember.

Then the bottom one, get a 3/8 in ratchet, put a swivel attachment onto the ratchet first. Then add an extension to the swivel, then a socket onto the long extension and feel for it, use another ratchet or box wrench to loosen from above.

I thought it was hard to do at first but it was actually pretty easy. No need at all to remove the A arm. Why do more work?

Getting them off is easier than putting the nuts back on to the bolts. It's not much of a job to remove the lower A arms.

I suppose it depends on whether or not you have a spring compressor and if the front of your car doesn't have to stay on its wheels.

Like others said it is a pain to get the wrench and socket on the hidden nuts, but take your time and they come out without taking any other parts off. When you put new mounts in use good quality fasteners.

What he said....
Removing the lower A arm is more work than I'd want to do if I'm just changing motor mounts.
I sure ain't trying to create more work for myself.
