I customized the aftermarket kick panels for a mustang which were molded to install 6" speakers and tweeters. I trimmed the panel and blended it into the front bottom of the door panel which holds the 6". I cut the dash and mounted the tweeter where the 3.5" was. The location where the center speaker would be is a perfect spot to place the crossovers...
