So I bought some electronic fans and I don't have a clue how to wire them up. I have 2 toggle switches but they only have 2 prongs off and on. If someone can show me a diagram how to use these 2 prongs switches thanks.

what fans you using?

Sometime this week, I will be wiring an electric fan from an Intrepid. I will be watching this thread for any useful information.

FYI
Hayden Automotive 3654 Adjustable Thermostatic Fan Control usually $85 is on Amazon right now for $40

I figure you mean Electric fans. What fans are they? With any fan you should use always use a relay. Since you have two fans you should have two relays.

Are you planning to just use a switch to turn them on, a temp probe, both? Do you want the fans to work in tandem, sequential, independent?

Yea I have 2 fuses on each side I just need to know how to get the toggle switches to work the brand is Derae performance

so are you planning to turn on the fans manually?

If you just want to control fans with a switch only and independent then get two relays (I'd also get the sockets for neatness and future serviceability)

Personally I would wire it so that the switches are the negative side.

Get a minimum 30amp relay and probably 40amp for safety.

The relay is labeled with numbers 30 ,85, 86, 87, 87a

Wire the battery to connector #30
Wire the Fan positive lead to #87
Wire the Fan negative lead to a chassis ground
Wire a 12v Key on source to #86
Wire on side of your switch to #85
Wire off side of your switch to a chassis ground.
Pin 87a will not be used.

Both fans should be wired this way to be independent.

Thank you , I greatly appreciate the info I thought it would take longer to resolve this thanks again.
