Good evening! Eventful last couple of days for me here. Anyways, I went to star the Hurst tonight. Started fine yesterday; went for a nice long ride-as my temp gauge goes in and out, I bought an IR Thermometer and wanted to check running temp. It was good.
Anyhow, went to start vehicle tonight, and no turnover. A simple click, and nothing else. Lights and electric work. Tried jumping it-not the battery. Tested the battery voltage and it's where it should be. Held the key in the ignition start position, and low and behold...a smell of burning plastic and smoke filled both my interior compartment through the vents and under the hood on the exterior.
You guys have any idea what this could be? Is it possible it's just a fusable link issue?
