Hydraulic Roller Adjustment Question.

You probably are already aware of this but just to make sure you do the lash adjustment with a roller cam is different than a flat tappet

Thanks, I haven't adjusted a flat tappet cam in probably 20 years, but I definitely have the roller cam procedure down.

I thought the only difference was hydraulic or solid and flat or roller didn't matter.... solids get lash and hydraulic gets preload

There are literally 10s of thousands of brand new LS and LT engines sitting in warehouses and factories around the world right now with no ill effect. Don't sweat it.

Just adjust them and be done with it it’s not going to hurt anything
