My dad got my gas tank back in and he said i stripped the hell out of the fuel filter upon taking it off. I didnt lube it for one. SO what is a new fuel line going to cost me from the block back to where the filter plug in? Where do I even buy one from?

depends on what you want. i think i paid 20$ for 3/8 line at autozone or something. or you can go with a rubber hose and use a push lock AN fitting deal. its not hard just time consuming if you want to do it right. o and i do not think not enough lube was your problem .

at advance we sell poly-vinyl-fluorine coated lines for a few bucks a piece. you CAN go with some rubber FI hose for about $1.50 a foot or some PVF coated hard line for about $2.00 a foot. comes in 2-6 foot pre-flared sections with fittings attached, or in 25 foot rolls and you put your on own fittings and flare it yourself as well.
the biggest downside to having hard line, is if you need to add/splice anything, it's not as easy as with rubber hose.
i will be using hard line myself.

do you think it would be wise to use never seize on the fittings, or would just some good ol' teflon tape be the best answer?

I always just spray some of that white lithium grease over the fitting. It has worked every time to keep the fitting from seizing together, even with Ohio's winter and salt. Plus it also doesnt allow anything to get into the fuel line and mess stuff up.
