Nice looking wagon, man. How is it equipped? V-8, power windows, etc. The headliner looks good. How's the rest of the interior? I like the factory Rallye II wheels.

Pretty loaded, which is what I was looking for...power windows, vent windows, locks, seat, tilt, cruise (works!), lightminder, gauge package (clock) 🙁 works, though! 🙂 rear dome lamp, rear defrost. 305 , I assume TH250 since that's what all the 83s I've seen have, despite people commonly thinking they're TH350s.

I think these Bonnes came loaded up for the most part, the last one was loaded as well.

Seat fabric is worn, but the rest is pretty nice. Needs some cleaning up, but it's all there and decent, which as we know is a huge plus on any G body, especially wagons. Headliner is fair, would probably just leave it, but somebody burnt/melted a hole in it. Lighter/cigarette I'd guess.

Wheels really set it off. Nice nice wagon.

I'm going to check with a couple of guys I know to see if they have any 15" PMD rallys. Found a set of T/A snowflakes painted black for $100, but really prefer 5 spoke wheels, whether they be OE or aftermarket.

Thanks, i really like it! Probably the only person in the hobby that LIKES the brown interior!

Yeah, I kinda figured it was loaded. I think most Bonnevilles were alittle more plush and better equipped than your average Malibu or Lemans wagon.
It's nice to have creature comforts. The car sits nice and straight. Does it also have heavy swaybars front and rear, or just front? Nothing that can't be rectified.

Came with the large frt bar, "F41" bars, and rad supt X braces. Have a GP bar and MCSS rear bar for it. Could stand better shocks...I like the KYB gas-a-just. Not the best shock in the world, but they make a noticeable difference with the other items installed and aren't spendy

Definetly have to do something about wheels/tires....those 195/75 14s are SMALL. And the ww on any type of styled wheel are :puke: to me. So far, nothing on CL, but there's always hope!

What a nice clean car! My 83' Bonneville had the 3.8 and a Turbo 350-C so you may also. 15" Rally II's from any Firebird will fit nicely. 15" Snowflakes are a problem on the front but I used 1/2" spacers to keep them away from the lips of the control arms, otherwise they gouge the inside of the rims.

Brian,
The extra brace(s), rear swaybar. and KYB shocks will be a noticeable improvement. I personally like the KYB's. I've had them in my car forever, and I feel were a good bang for the buck. They may not be the best shock out there, but who wants the spend the big bucks for Bilsteins.

Thanx for the info Bonne...I wasn't really that keen on snowflakes anyway.

Jack, I had that same setup on the old blue Malibu wagon, I liked the way it drove, although it needed springs by the time I was done with it.

This car is as close to the "grandma special" as I've been able to find...seems like these wagons are either already being done, or ar e total beaters for the most part....at least in my neck of the woods. I envy Pacific NW and SE US guys....seems like they're always for sale around there.
