We went from 9 cars down to 4 cars over the last few years. Very liberating. Hell, I am practically giving parts away just to not leave a legacy of bullshit for my wife and kids to sift through once I die.

Against my better judgment, I'm going the other way. I've got one slated for the chopping block next spring and a motorcycle for sale right now. They've already been replaced though. And like an idiot, I'm bring one home this weekend along with shopping for a new (old) work car.

I figure there is enough people that start projects and don't finish them. It is my destiny (nay, I dare to say duty!) to purchase them, make them driving again, and hoard them to an (possibly) unreasonable amount.

I think for every finished older car on the road or in a garage, there are 2 or 3 that had the engine pulled and interior gutted stripped down to raw steel because it ran rough due to the fuel filter being plugged or there was pinhole rust in the quarters.

I don't blame you. Too many cars is a pain in the *ss. Registration and insurance gets expensive, not to mention having to play Tetris every time you want to get one out of the driveway.

I only have 3 cars and man....life was much more simple when you only had to register one car.
