Yah, and if your wife kicks you out, you can sleep in the back!

I was eyeing that on MR.

The v6 will be nice as gas prices go back up.

I would do a nice cat back system, a set of gears( you can pick up all those 7.5 rears everyone is afraid of 😉 ).

I'm very curious to see what kind of mileage I'll get out of it. This is my tenth g-body now, but only the second with a V6, and the first (81 Regal) I didn't even have long enough to burn through more than one tank of gas...

Some steeper gears would certainly help get the poor thing moving, but it goes down the road great, and even the cruise control works.

what are you going to do to prep this thing for daily driving? and some pictures of that cruise setup would be great

Blake do you have any more pictures?

Those pics are from the ad, I'll wash it and take some in the next day or two.

Well, this morning, I hopped in it, pumped the gas once, started it up, and went to work!
I plan on giving it a shakedown this weekend and inspecting all the rubber lines and hoses and brakes and such. Might do a quick tune up on it too. The vacuum lines to the heater controls are cracked so that'll have to be taken care of.

Hi Blake!

I saw that add too and only wished I had the cash to buy it. I am glad to see it went to someone who will appreciate it. I have a roached out 83 century wagon that runs and only wish it was in that good of shape. I know the price was right too! Is it kind of a bluish green? Some pics it looks more blue, others more green.

The color looks dark green to me. The paint chip book lists the name as 'Dark Jadestone Poly' but there wasn't a color sample to reference.

Ran it through the touchless car wash so I could inspect for leaks, so I took a few pictures when I got back home. I was digging around a bit and found two relatively intact build sheets underneath the drivers seat. I'll patch them together and scan them when I get a chance. I also replaced the struts for the rear glass.

Here she is, all cleaned up at its new home

The tweaked bumper bugs me... why would you pull something from the corner of the bumper when there's a trailer hitch to hook on to?! :x

Minty interior. Smells just like the '81 Regal I got from my grandma when I was 16.

What a beauty! My wife wants a wagon just for our large dog who goes everywhere with us. I cant fit him in the cutlass and even if he did fit, he'd beat on the rear windows until he figured out a way to open them himself  . If I could find a wagon with electric windows .....

Nice, nice score. 8)
