I heard a complaint about my rear not looking good, SO WHO HAS TAILIGHTS TO SELL?

I need or would like to have all 4 tail lights for my 1979 Calais. Mine are faded from the AZ sun and are more pink than red.
Just driver quality ones are fine unless someone knows of a way to deepen the color on mine without using Plasticoat. I can polish the
top of the lens but that doesn't make it any deeper of a red.

That helps but that helps when the bulbs are lit........I mean just walking up on the car in daylight and they
are just so washed out.......good structurally just faded, but I see your point with the bulbs and the ability to APPEAR
red without being so red.

There's a couple guys here that have wet sanded and polished theirs. I heard about the clearcoat as a solution to faded plastic headlights.

I wonder if there is enough color base to bring them back............40 years in the AZ is not kind to colors or cloth or rubber
or plastic or to human skin...................

Where's that good ol fashioned red like duct tape only supposedly transparent? JC Whitney sold a ton of that in our time.

How about misting red lacquer on the inside...to where it become translucent rather than solid red?
