I've considered an aftermarket crossmember but have never pulled the trigger because the tubular style looks weak to me. I've resigned to modding my factory crossmember but may change my mind if someone has a good arguement. Do you guys feel comfortable using this style piece with high HP applications?
 
I too was a little skeptical. I asked the lady at iceman and she said that they personally know of their crossmember being used in an 1100hp drag car, so i'd say it's good for regular street duty with higher hp.
 
I have 1 in my salon no problems it gives you extra room for duel exhaust. I got mine off ebay but that was a couple years ago.

I wouldn't say I have a high HP application but I have never had an issue with my 350 Olds making a little less than double the power the 307 had. Both the th350 that was in it and now 200-4R are manual valve bodies and shift hard.
