1980 malibu factory 4 spd car. Now muncie m 21. 9" forged rotating asm. Need ideas can't decide on interior or color. Was fac. Bench seat. The bench seat makes it mooore funn when playing with kneecaps, fishnet hose, and leather mimi skirts. (Atleast in second and fourth gear.) And the dual fours & tunnel ram with the big solid cam can keep her gasping for air so you can play with w hat you want longer! O and remember when she is in car on seat just reach over and put a rubber snake or lizard on passenger side of seat between her and pass. Door. Then just dump the clutch and get at it.I guatantee that she will sit tight next to you.
AIN'T FOUR SPEED MUSCLE CARS KOOLL.
SHIFT ON BROTHERS......SHIFT ON

I have found a 1980 not to far for me,305/4speed no a,/c,buckets no console, does have gauges.it looks to have the 81 up style dash.i read somewhere this may be correct for a no a/c car.
There are 2 black/silver landau cars that keep popping up in my search, both with sunroofs, one red in other black.but neither are for sale.i love that combo. There is one in a friends junk yard same combo with sunroof, but it's auto

Is your intentions to restore it back to stone, as delivered stock or drive it?

If you want something to drive, you might as well start with an auto car and convert it to manual, because there are so much better parts available today, you probably wouldn't keep much from the original manual set-up on a driver.

If i was building one, I wouldn't use the 305, I wouldn't use the clutch/pedal setup, I wouldn't use the factory transmission and because I didn't use the original motor/transmission, I'd have to use a stronger rear end.

I'm wanting a factory 4 speed,I converted a 80 back on the 90's.I'd like a good original car, maybe put a set of 3.42 gears in it and enjoy. I have a 69 nova ss396 that makes over 400hp stock with m21 and 4.10's if I want to hot rod,I also have a 2015 1LE camaro I bought new for the family to enjoy, cruise in comfort and a/c.whem I find a mailbu it will prolly be my sons first car

I had a '79 GP factory 4 spd car back in college in the mid 80's and it wasn't even a great car by mid 1980's stds, let alone 2017 stds.

If I was building one today, I'd start with the nicest '79 GP I could find, which is probably an Auto, and build that into a manual using a hydraulic clutch, a larger, more modern motor and a modern overdrive transmission, put modern brakes on it (like Blazer), good suspension and large wheels/tires and have car built for today and not for 37 years ago when the speed limits were 55 mph and Honda & Toyota sedans didn't run low 14 second 1/4's stock.

I wouldn't pass on a nice Auto malibu and convert that to manual (or buy one already converted to manual). At this point in their lifecycle, rust free > factory manual every time. Given the choice between a rust free auto and rusty factory manual, I know which one I'd pick. We converted our '86 GP to manual with factory clutch parts back in the 1990s' because that was all that was available. If we were doing it again today, we'd go hydraulic.

Lol,you guys are killing me! I did pass up a nice 1 owner 79 landau,267 auto, white, maroon top and interior
Years ago there was a 78 landau 305,4 speed, posi, buckets, tach and gauges here,it had lost its rear frame rails in the early 90's.really a shame. It was black, silver top,red in.
