having some difficulty finding the part #..I can send it off if I have to but would prefer NOS or something a like

The link to rock auto is a chevy balancer, not the same.

Part number is 25523502 for the early balancer and the later is the same if you remove the sheet metal crank sensor ring.

I see nothing on flea bay at the moment.

Might try this place in Venezuela they claim to have a few.
