I separated the outer front driver side fender from the inner fender so that I could repair a large dent. Dent has been repaired, but now for the life of me I can't figure out how to get the inner fender back into the outer fender. Anybody have any tricks/tips? Do I need to undo the bend in the wheel arch or is it possible to put this back in as is without bending any metal?

Jack the car up and put on jack stands on the side you're working on. Take the tire/wheel off. Once the inner wheel well is roughly in position, loose assemble the fasteners until you have them all started. If it came out without a fight, it will go back in without one. Hold your mouth right. No metal needs to be bent. The issue is a little bit ambiguous, a photo would help. ...
