Intake

Has anyone used summit or jegs brand intakes? The prices are cheap and wondering if the quality is too. Any input is appreciated thanks.

Intake manifolds? They are ok. Basically Chinese copies of the Edelbrocks.

I bought a 350 vortec and converting to carburetor. An Edelbrock rpm manifold runs about $350. The store brands run 150 to 175 and was wondering if anyone had used them or are they junk.

I would get the store brand. I remember seeing a article one of the Magazines did and the intakes from Summit and Jegs did pretty good.

They work pretty well , sometimes they can use alittle cleaning on they ports especially with the tall single planes but you'll be happy well worth the price ,and if you search around online there's afew dyno shoot outs on the china intakes vs name brand ,you'll be impressed how close they are
