Interesting Project

The OP called it interesting and different. It is. I just don't like the car and pointed out the reasons why. From the 20-footer perspective the body and paint look okay but when you zoom in the interior shots it's pretty ragged.
Opinions and *ssh*les, right?

Atleast in the add he stated interior needs work. And as this thread title states PROJECT!!

I am not into Fords or even 50's cars but when I saw the CL add I thought it looked kind of cool for the price, it's obviously a project that will have to be finished however a future owner decides.

Yes, it's a project. And I'm sure he has a lot more in it than he's asking. When you put together a "custom" vehicle such as this you run the risk of differing opinions when it comes to style. That's why there are so many black '57 Chevys, red '32 roadsters, and blue '69 Camaros. They're safe and you'll always find a buyer.
Chopping up an odd-duck body, painting it a unique color, putting it on a 4-cylinder S10 chassis, and trying to integrate the S10 interior, is a pretty bold move. The result is definitely not for everyone. I'm one of those people.

Is it well done? Hard to tell from the tiny CL photos. If experience has taught me anything, it's that they never look as good in person.

So yes, it is a project and it's different and interesting. I still don't like it.

Edit: a little more poking around revealed that it has the S10's VIN and a rebuilt title. Could be another potential can-o-worms.

I've always liked the '53-'54 Ford Courier body style. I would've done things differently, but it would be an interesting project never the less.
But, that's what true hot rodding is all about...being unique and working within what you can afford to spend on it. When hot rodding began, guys would scavenge most parts from the junkyard and of course do the majority of the work themselves.

I say a small turbo to make it fun. The interior would not be that bad to finish.
