that couldn't be the problem, that wires goes to the battery to charge it and it has nothing to do with the starter system

Like big block was sayin check the rod o the column I had the same problem bent the rod alittle bit and no starter wtf check it

Steve is right, but, on these old cars, anything is possible.

your right but I don't want to see him break down on the road....now if he had a standard transmission like us any hill will do it.. 🙂
