Hi! I'm new to the G body world. I haven't worked on Chevys since my teenage years, when it seemed like everyone had a 55-71 Chevy to play with, so I was really thrilled to find this forum!
I just got an 81 Malibu Wagon that will be my daily driver/project. It's cream colored outside with a dark brown dash and the rest of the interior is sort of gold. It has no rust, but the 30 yrs of Arizona sun have worked on the interior. The PO put in a 305 HO and a 200R4, and it seems to runok at this pint.
I have to add back the AC, get the speedo working, and then just upgrade things here and there as time and money allow Will decide later whether to keep the 305 or replace it. Comfort first, and then performance.
