Thank you.
Tentatively, I have the exhaust pipes (3") running inside a 4" housing that is welded around an opening in the floor pan, a pipe within a pipe if you will. That way the exhaust system remains separate from the interior just like any other car, while still providing drainage etc for any water that may splash up inside the housing.
I say "tentatively" because I'm not entirely happy with the esthetics of it, it kind've looks out of place. I'm considering kicking the floor pan up and over the majority of the pipe, and then somehow incorporating the pipe within a pipe concept again, but only after it passes the point where the rear interior panel mounts.
That's just a thought I'm considering, I've put that section on hold for a bit while I complete the custom rear firewall/ partition I've fabricated loosely based on the Corvette "waterfall" design (with a F85 design influence, of course)
;-)
And before everybody asks, I've deleted the rear seat (it's not a damn taxi!!!), kicked the trunk pan over the axel up 1 1/2", and extended it and the waterfall ahead 4" for clearance around tubing and clamps for the air ride lines underneath.
Here's a couple pics of that part of the build:
