I found this bad boy today and bought the front seats. Its at a salvage yard in daytona beach florida the ph# is 386 767 0720 i delt with james real nice guy.
That looked like a pretty clean Monte despite needing a quarter. I wouldn't have minded having it.
The seats are pretty nice.....I mean were. I could use the trans, though, to replace the one that I foolishly sold years ago.
I made all my racing money back in the day that way. Would drive around and pick up 2nd and 3rd gen camaro. Either fix or strip them and sell parts at the swap meet.
Found an 87 Elco for sale in Middletown, DE. I talked to the guy, and he said it's 20k original miles, and has been sitting most of its life. I don't think it's worth $18k, but it's cool regardless. The bed is pretty scratched up.
Perhaps someone is trying really hard to find a Choo Choo? Lol
this thread is very appealing to me. i have an obsession with taking pics of gbodys and other cars i like in yards or on the road. cruise ins and shows arent the same. my girlfriend would attest thats my "collection" besides my cars.
Next time I go work on my car I'll get a picture or maybe onehit will it's near his house there's a Monte Carlo SS and a Grand Nation rusting in the same driveway been there at least 16 years without moving
