Must be nice to have to much money. To use a designer then all those shops do ALL the work. It cracks me up that with all that money spent they couldn't come up with something LESS BORING than a cowl hood, cmon people you fell asleep on that part. Don't get me wrong, I love the workmanship the SHOPS put into the car. Other than the SHOP $$$$ BUILT and the hood, my only critiques are the dash looks awkward, and the front wheels sit in too far. I'm probably in the minority of people who never liked bubble tops in the first place , but that's e nice use of one to disguise it. I do love the use of a ( possibly late 61 409. They were offered in end of 61 cars) for keeping with the theme.

In 62 my dad bought a new blue with white roof Impala wagon, beautiful car even to the 7 year old car nut I was at the time.
I'd love to have one to make into a 2 door.

'61-and '62 were two of my favorite Chevy wagon styles. However, I do love the '58 Yeoman and Tri-five Nomads and Handyman wagons. It's hard to not like them all. '59-'60 had cool 2-dr wagons.
