401 :mrgreen: , if you found someone selling off the factory 304 set up out of one of these cars (kinda rare but they did exist, lol), the 401 would be a direct swap, kinda like going from a 307 to a 403, lol.

As for an engine replacement, why not just consider a MOPAR 360? The mounts are easily obtainable.
If I go to the trouble of an engine swap it will be efi and overdrive transmission, the Magnum engines are an option but nowhere near the power of the GM stuff the same size and the mpg is awful. I know I've owned about 8-9 of them,. :wink:
