Been a while...

School + kid = not much to talk about in terms of the 87.

Almost finished with exams, now I am getting ready to buy a L05 out of a 93 Fleetwood. Hoping to place a carb on the originally tbi engine and drop it in.

my last job, we were always traveling to Windsor for confrences and stuff. And we stayed at the Casino one time, and every other time just down the road. And we always ate at that Keg...

So I was hoping to buy a 350 from a 1993 Cadillac Fleetwood that I found at an auto-repairer's shop. Car was written off due to t-bone damage. When I first saw the car, I told the mechanic I was interested. The car wouldn't run and the dash has a digital odometer. He spends $80, puts on a new starter, calls me to check it out. Engine sounded good, but the odometer read 400,000+km. So as soon as he sees me checking out the dashboard numbers he says "the engine was changed." Right..... So after checking the VIN, I confirmed it was an L05 and not an LT1. still an improvement over my 305, but my issue is the mileage. He gives me a constantly expanding story about the engine being swapped while having zero paper work to prove it + everything looked stock (all vacuum, electrical connections accounted for/attached).

305 sticking around a bit longer in the Regal I suppose...
