This is a BOP Turbo 350 so fitment should be EZPZ. The fact the 301 starter works proves all else is correct. I just checked the Jegs instructions again. They actually advise shimming on bolt only to tilt it towards/away from the ring gear. That may be the answer because shimming both is not working. The 301 starter works well enough for now and since we put the car to bed for the winter this will have to wait. Snow is coming and I draw the line at working outdoors when it's cold and wet.
