I'm a utilityworker at the sewage treatment plant for the city. The job stinks but pays the bills. Maybe try applying for jobs in the city or county you live in? In ohio to get your cdl you don't need to take classes, you just gotta pass the test. At least it was like that when I got mine 10 years ago.

I agree, the work force is really slow right now. I help run a Transional Homeless shelter for young Adoults, and one of the program policies is that the client obtain a job with in the first 30 days. My cleints have had a really hard time finding work, specially the ones where this is there first job.

I really hope you find something, and specially something you like doing.
