If you dont have time for GBOTM, I'd be willing to fill your spot until you are able to again. And best wishes in your situation....

Papabearxl,
those T/A or GN type wheels aren't regulars, are they? They seem a little wider, and seem to have more backspacing. Where did you get them?

Good eye.(I assume you are referring to the rears)..I have thought the same thing, as they are 16x8, with 6.5" backspacing, using a 2" spacer. I want to say that at one time I looked the specs up, and they were correct for a 90-something Corvette.
I inadvertently bought 4 of them on eBay years ago, and they were supposed to be 2 front and 2 rears for a f-body, but all 4 had these dimensions. I tried to sell them, and sold 2, and had these 2 left and decided to put them up possible use.
The fronts are slightly different style (one set dimpled, one not), and are what I could come up with, on the cheap. They are 15x7. I have 255/50/16 on the rear, and 225/60/15 in the front. I do need to tweak the front end height, of which I have some 5662's to install, and possibly modify.

my brother has one-off 17" BMW rims, that look the same as the T/A or GNX rims. But being BMW, they have super huge backspacing, and a odd bolt pattern.

T/A rims are 16x8, fronts have 4.75" BS, and rears have 5.25" BS. So with your 6.5" BS, makes me think they might have been off a BMW? Measure your bolt pattern, it might come up to 120mm, instead of 120.7mm bolt circle.

nice salon, i like the way the soft 8s look on it.

Thanks...I am actually leaning toward that, too, with bigger rubber. Maybe 255/60/15 in the rear, and corresponding rubber in the front....maybe 235/60/15...
