i bought a 305 from a 86 monte for my swap. my cutlass has the 231 now. well i got the computer for it.

edelbrock performer 37011 polished egr manifold
edelbrock double roller timing chain
and chrome engine dress up kit.

Man it just feels real good buying parts for my new engine and i cant wait till i drop that baby and turn the key. anyway a new cam and lifters is next along with a new chrome air filter to finish off the top end of the engine making it look nice.

i dont have it on the engine stand yet so the pic i have isnt to good. its all stock as of now. anyway i should have it up on the stand sometime this week and thats when i'll take better pics and start to replace some of those stock parts with the new things i've been getting.

because my friend was able to hook me up with a price i couldnt pass on. it was $100 for the 305 complete and for a v6 guy like me this was perfect. i have a legal settlement that im entitled to in late 2009 so i plan on droppin fresh 350 in then. 2008 is me turnin my car from v6 into v8 and 2009 is all about power...350 stroked out to 383 baby!!!!
