I thought i would stop in and say hello. My name is J.W., i have a 78 Pontiac LeMans that is slowly be converted to a Malibu. It's powered by a std bore 350 Chevy that is rather mild. Ilike the site and love learning new things about gbodies.

Welcome aboard and post some pics of that conversion as it comes along!

Welcome aboard! I gotta ask, Why not just buy a `bu instead? (obviously I`m biased here)
Dean

The summer before last.

Ok, that looks kinda cool! Certainly different with the sloped quarters. Are you goint to finish it this summer? What taillamp treatment are u using? What about the interior? Are you mixing and maching or going whole `bu? Tell us the whole plan, What engine? what color?

Sorry for all these questions but i`m really curious about how this will turn out.

Welcome aboard J.W.!
Good looking Malibu...errr, I mean Lemans. I personally would have kept it as a Lemans. But that's my opinion. Lemans are alittle more unique than your common Malibu.
I'd put a '78 Lemans nose on my Malibu wagon...or a Grand Am nose for sure.
