The number represents a 68 - 70 block casting, specifically the "2". If the internals are original for that block you should have a nodular crank, nice pistons (not too dished) and rods. Don't quote me on it but this block may have a higher nickel content than the later ones.

The heads are ok, not the best. There should be a set of numbers above the middle exhause ports / exits, like ***-***, maybe 411929 I think. They have huge chammbers, like 79cc. The 5 - 7A heads have smaller, ~64cc chambers, better for the CR.
In any event, very glad you don't have the 260 wheezy - trust me, they actually do wheeze.
