Love a nice full size Blazer! Almost any wheel looks good on those, but I definitely prefer a 15", with a 31" tall tire if it's not lifted. Just looks right to me. JMO

I'm gonna be in the minority here but I like bigger wheels, not the crazy big but closer to 20 or 22. Very nice job on the truck, I am not an orange guy but that definitely is a real looker

If it were mine I’d do a 2” lift with 15” rallys and 33” A/T tires
If not your daily ,
A mild big block with 400 trans and 3.55 rear
If your daily then a fuel injected small block with od trans same rear gear
Very cool square body man

What do you like about these trucks? What is your favorite style of build?

I like the white rim you have in the first pic. Matches the white top, nice complement to the paint color and it is era correct to the vehicle but has a timeless style that is still seen. I would go 15 or 16 inch with ATs on it. I would probably not lift or minimally lift it if it was to be a daily driver. For the engine I always liked the look of having the large air cleaner over the engine like in a 350 with a carb or TBI. May not be as efficient as a LS but I like the old school look. The 350 has plenty of power to cruse around town.

Looks great so far.

Those K5’s are bringing serious money at the Mecum and Barrett Jackson auctions lately. A few years back I had two of them. An ‘80 and an ‘84. Loved them both. Rolled the ‘80 (lucky to be alive). The 84 eventually became a rust bucket and I sold it for $1500

My vanity tag on the 84 was BLAZIN

Love the K5! I'll second the vote for the old school "wagon wheels" on it. If money is no object, a crate 383 built for torque would be my vote. You couldn't go wrong with a LQ4/LQ9 and a 4L80E either.
