the thing to lookout for is the size of the magnet too.i tried to put a high end set in but it was to big it hit the hvac duct on the drivers side.i settled on a set of not very fancy pioneers that just fell in place. like he said^^ they're only so good as they're small stature allows..

Another thing to look out for is the cones protruding too high. You want to make sure they fit under the grilles with no trouble.
When I replaced the speakers in my GP dash, they did stick up a bit. Not as flush as I expected.

I guess I will have to see how much room the Cutlass speakers holes have before I buy them

Well for those with a Cutlass dash there is plenty of room for large magnet speakers

No duct work near them

I had Kenwood's in my car. I know the magnet was hitting the heating duct. Make sure to get a set of bass blockers for them too. Your speakers and your ears will thank you
I was looking at Kenwoods. Other than hitting th duct, how was clearance? I have no ducting in my car.

They still fit, just had to gently push them down just the last 1/8" or so to get the screws in

Also look at Powerbass. I've used them a lot and really like them. It helps that I have a friend that can get them for me at wholesale too.
