I've looked and really don't wanna cut the dash to do that. I might have a solution, just waiting on a reply from a audio company.what about mounting the speaks on the other side
A red one? Whatchu talkin bout willis? You said you only needed a red one; use the grinder.
Make room where you can get room.
Not desperate man, don't go through that trouble. Waiting on a reply from a couple places. Still have time before the dash gets painted. If you're desperate I can try taking my speakers out. I remember they are a royal PITA to get the screws out and then even the speakers. Just enough room between the windshield and the dash....
Finally called Powerbass this morning and they were nice enough to measure a set. Pretty much same deal as the other brands, about 5-6mm tall from the mounting tab to the top edge of the tweeter. Looks like it's flip a coin time lol.If you're desperate I can try taking my speakers out. I remember they are a royal PITA to get the screws out and then even the speakers. Just enough room between the windshield and the dash....
.....and it's a 3.5" speaker.Guess i'll just go with the Kenwoods then
Dont need anything fancy since not using an amp
