There was a debate going on, can a 12v key on power source be connected to the ignition wire that goes on the starter instead of going to a fusebox port for a electric fan? Thanks

The purple wire is 12v when its in the start position only.. so no.

Red to the starter is 12v unfused battery constant.

You want something for electric fans, run a constant fused power off the battery through a relay that's controlled by a ground on the energize terminal.

Have that method but it keeps blowing fuses from a key on fuse in fusebox and ignition ports
The key on ignition source should only be powering the relay contacts (not the fans). The relay by itself will not cause the fuse to blow. As noted you need a fused heavy duty cable / power source directly from the battery also connected to your relay. Do you know how to read an electrical schematic? The red and yellow wires should be heavy gauge and rated properly for the fans current draw.

My two yellow wires come from the fuse box and turn ON/OFF the two relays. Just in case: In the schematic "IGNITION" is not the ignition switch but the IGNITION Labeled source at the fuse box. It is power ON with the key ON. When I turn ON the key it energizes the relays that will start the fans only when the 180 degree water temp sensor (Gray Wires) completes the circuit. Simple!

Sounds like you have it wired wrong.

4 Terminal Relay:
30 - constant Fused 12v
87- to the Fan Hot side
85 - control switched ground
86 - 12 fused key-on ignition

You wire the above to a single fan it will work. Two of them setup like that will run dual fans independent. You want both at the same time that gets a little more involved.

Do some googling on how to wire a relay. You'll figure out quickly what you did wrong.

85 and 86 are used to turn the realy on and off. 30 and 87 are the large amperage power pins. What type of thermostatic fan switch are you using or are you running it off a toggle switch?
