I picked up a barely used Lincoln Mig Pak 15 yesterday with a cart, 4 rolls, tips and a bunch of other supplies for $400. I dropped it off at my son's place and I know his kids will want to get involved but I can't find any small helmets made for kids. I guess I can throw a few winter hats on them to make their heads grow but I don't think that would be too comfortable. What do you guy do with your kids who want to watch.

I was going to suggest a hand held as well.

My helmet has an adjustment knob on the band it cranks down fairly small.

I don't trust them with as hand held. I'll see if I can get the adjustment small enough but I am wondering if the helmet with sit properly on their head so they can see.

I don't have to worry about the dogs though, they took one look at the helmet and ran....

Its probably made in China.

They start them pretty young over there in the welding yards!!

when they were really little then band clamp was tight enough but the face shield would rest on their chest so I would make them wear my old Oxy Goggles when watching me weld. Once they reached 10 or so they would fit into the band clamp and full face shield. They would have so much fun with a stick welder and couple bars of steel. Don't forget the good leather gloves to protect from the Arc burn and a fan before they bring on the fun !

Cheap face shields are less than $15
