OK, so let's see who the quickest and fastest top ten on this site are? If you been to the strip recently, let's hear how you did.

Please include 60 foot, 1/8mile and 1/4 times and MPH. Let us know if it's street driven or track only and don't forget to include some video or pics...........

8.28 @ 165, 1.24 60ft

Oh you meant in a G-body 😉

I find it hard to believe there are no drag racers on here. The 8.28 that Cutlassracer posted is a Vega Wagon that is a purpose built track only drag car, so please don't be discouraged by the #s he posted.

My 84 is a streetable mid 11 second ride That has been in the 10s on some spray. Currently it has Cutlassracer's bullet in it while I'm slowly building my own 355ci SBO after killing it last year. I'd really like to see what you guys are runn'in so let's get this thing fired up.

😀 😀 😀

i don't know if my car is in the top 10... but it's not because i'am not trying. i went to a 1/8 mile race this weekendand my best time was [email protected]'am in the process of learning what the best pressure is on my m/t et streets i'am at 17psi. the best 60ft was a1.69 and the worst was 1.79...jesse

Thanks for posting. Do you drive your car daily? What converter are you running? How much spray are you using and who makes the system?

I also run MT street radials, 275-60s, and have had good luck w/ slightly higher pressure (20 to 22 psi). If I'm going to spray it (dual stage kit from NOS) I'll drop that down a pound or two. My best 60 foot was 1.401 on the spray and in the 1.50s on motor, not bad for stock suspension.

Sounds like your on your way to a pretty quick little ride. I started out in that area about 4 years ago and with the guidance of the guys I work with @ Rollins Automotive along with proper parts combinations the car has really been a lot of fun.

Here's a link to our website. There are some vids of my car and others, hope you enjoy... http://www.rollinsautomotiveinc.com/

Good luck, if you would like to kick around some ideas just let me know.

The ice is officially broken so if anyone would like to make a recommendation on how we should organize this list, let's get to it!!!!!!!! 😀

i'am really glad to see someone as interested in drag racing as i am, a little history on my car,it's a one owner car and i'am it .the car has over 300000 miles on it, i drove it every day as i was putting it together. back in 1997 i replaced the 305 with a 350 and started down that got to go fast road 🙂 it would take me 11 years to get where i'am at....in 2004 i had a heart attact that the doctor said should have killed me, but he didn't know that i had a street car that was finally coming around, i got to say that my wife has given me the money to help me make my dream come true, and thats pulling the wheels off the ground  my friends at the track tell me my left front is comin off about 3 or 4 inch's !!!! my set up is fairly strong, the engine is a cnc motorsports eagle forged everything,a700r4 that i built because i kept burning out the second gear band in the 200r4, the conveter is a b/m 3000 stall the rear is a fab-9 that i put in back in 98...the exhaust is headman elite and 2 1/2 full exhaust with a h-pipe the front supension is stock but for the v-6 springs and 90/10 shocks and i took off the sway bar. the rear supension is chris alston solid lower bars and adjustable uppers with moroso squat springs with stock shocks and no sway bar.on the way home the other night after the race i stopped on a nice clean piece of asphalt and layed a full launch on it , when i went out today i checked it out and i seems that i don't have enough air pressure in my tires.so now i should get some serious 60's by going up instead of down 😀 i can't wait until wensday night, that is if this storm doesn't come my way!!!! and all of my passes are on the motor, i do have a nos dual set up but haven't used it yet on this motor :evil

Sounds good, is that something that an administrator or moderator would have to set up or is that something you know how to do?

The admin would have to set it up.
I was thinking of doing something like that on my site, but I use a different forum software than this one.

Jesse, sounds like your having fun with it. The twist you are having @ launch (lifting just one side) can be solved by an anti- roll bar that attaches between the frame rails and the rear end. I installed mine a year or so ago and love it. It's made by a company here in Florida called TRZ, there are others out there but I like my current set-up.

The H-pipe set-up works, but in my opinion a 3" X pipe system is capable of more RWHP. Not real sure how well the 700r4 is going to work when you start making big HP or pull the trigger on that 2 stage kit. I'm running a TH350 currently w/ a JW 3800 converter (It has definitely helped to get the wheels up). I installed a Strange S-60 w/3.73 gears after fragging a couple 7.5" posi units in 07', don't think I'll be worrying with that anymore.

I'm a little short on time right now due to an agility test I have to run through on Tuesday afternoon for a new job I'm pursuing so I'll leave you with this link to my car in Fastest Street Car magazine....Click on the May issue and got to page 24 to check it out.... Here's the link...

Let me know when you get ready to spray that thing and I'll see if I can help you to get it to hook up so you can grab it straight out of the hole. That first 60 feet is very important @ the power levels that we're running to get that killer time slip and some wheels up photos...Peace Out ...Sean

R/t kota, I'll contact an admin guy when I get some time or maybe someone on here will read this and give them the heads up on what we would like to do. Thanks for your input, By the way got to spend some time on your site, looks pretty good, keep it up......??? did I see a turbo in you signature and if so is it fast?........Sorry, I'm a speed freak...Peace
