Do I need longer wheel studs to mount my new wheels on my car? They're Summit Legend 5 wheels and mount the same way as OEM aluminum wheels. I don't need wheel spacers or anything like that, they're going right on the rotors/axles like the steel wheels. The reason I'm asking is the current tires are not road worthy and if I need new wheel studs I'll need to have it towed to have the studs replaced and I'd rather avoid having to pay for a tow and to have them changed out.

The studs are an easy install they are just pressed in but you should not need them just the proper lug nuts for the Summit wheels that match your thread size.

I have the right lug nuts, I got a set and I'll test fit one wheel and see how it goes. I have a few days of good weather to work on the car and I'm hoping to get most of the work remaining done to get the car on the road again. I'll test fit a wheel during the weekend since I have to take the wheels off to finish the brakes.
