the antenna is in the windshield. I am certain that the windshields and seats swap.
X2 and the antenna hooks up at the bottom middle of the windshield youll have to unhook it from the radio before you remove it.

can anyone help w/these Qs?

Do G-body bench seats bolt right in? The 60/40 seat is shot.

Windshield cracked - is it the same as a Malibu windshield? There is no antenna anywhere either.
2door malibu windshield would be the same, 4door is different. and yes, any g-body seat will bolt right in. since you had 60/40s, you already have the mounts for bucket seats too.

When you do it you might need to buy items #6 & #7 to make it better fir reinstall......also Dorman

has a replacement part for just one half of it which might be ordered locally if needed......I had tracked this down for some of GN guys over on Turbobuick.....the only place that had it was LMC truck parts.........go figure......but this is what love about GM products......the answer doesnt always lie in the exact model we search for but sometimes is another GM product model that holds the solution.......what you need is an adapter to connect the windshield wire to the radio antenna cable.....the only place Ive been able to find it is at LMC trucks on this page here parts #6 and #7 on page 172 on 73-87 GMC/Chevrolet catalog.............let me know if this helps............http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cc/full.aspx?Page=172

......also on the same page checkout the under the hood lamps 2 of those with led bulbs are really nice when having to work after dark but only if you cant them in the junkyard............

Thanks for the input. This car doesn't currently have a windshield with an antenna so I am guessing at some point it was replaced with the wrong one.

I'll be heading to the boneyard tomorrow to look for seats!

It could be ordered either way, with the antenna in the windshield or not. My 85 and my old 86 Elky have the antenna on the fender.

First elco so I've got a LOT of questions:

Much of the chrome trim around the bed is gone - available aftermarket?

Rear springs have given up - Gbody only to swap in - or can I find springs from something else?

I really like the 5 spoke IROC 16 in wheels from 80s era Z28s - clearance issues with them?

This last one is such a noob Q - don't laugh - where is the fuel filter on a F.I. 4.3?
