so i ordered some ac delco spark plugs and i get them in today and they all say made in mexico. to further destroy any trust i may have had for these plugs as i inspected them the electrode you snap onto with the plug wire literally fell out of the plug. so i have to return that one but i'm thinking about maybe returning them all and getting a plug that is made here. even though it was mexico it might as well have said made in china.

my feelings are started to sour with ac delco products now.

i just want a regular OEM type plug. i dont want or need anything performance wise, its just a daily driver and i find the engine prefers regular copper plugs. i tried platinums once and will not do it again.

I have found AC Delco Mexico stuff to be OK. How about Champion? I have had very good luck with those.

I thought I was the only one who was thinking A/C Delco parts are so-so anymore. I wasnt happy with the plug wires I got for the 442 so they were returned, they didnt look or feel like quality wires. They werent made in USA either. Although the relay for the blower motor in the 442 I got from delco is made in China but works great.

I've been very happy with Autolite and Champion plugs in all my cars including my G-body's.

Mondello recommends NGK's for Olds motors. I have had much luck with that brand, and with AC Delco's.

The splitfire copper plugs should still be made in the us, they've got a few designs, if the whole split thing works im not sure, but they work alright.

Other then that I stick bosch in everything else. No sence for any fancy 4 tip stuff and just stick with copper.

We use Champions at work and never have issues. RC12YC. I got them in my cutlass.

I got E3 in my truck. They are nice but I went through a set in my wifes Jeep....cylinder missfire.
