Looking for a shop to replace rear frame rails

Both sides are gone where the bumper mounts and the passenger side the rubber bushing has pushed through the frame right behind the tire

I did mine myself and you couldn't pay me enough to do it with the body still on the frame. Even without the body on, it was a full afternoon job (mind you, half the time was building a jig to keep everything in place) You can probably buy a small welder for the same price as it would cost to have a shop do it and find someone willing to do the welding for cheap(assuming you're not comfortable doing it yourself)

There is an excellent frame repair shop just down the road from me here in Pittsburgh. A guy and his son, been there over 30 years. Very experienced, frame repair is all they do. I've used them multiple times an I've never been disappointed. I doubt you want to travel that far but if you can't find anyone else who is good PM me for their info.

Did you ask conrad about anyone I rememeber him saying there is a shop in Woodstock that will do it. I will see if I can dig up there business card.

Pittsburgh is a little far. I'm in southern Ontario Canada. I spoke to Conrad the only place he recommended was in Barrie which I'm sort of keeping as a last resort seeing as how I'd prolly be towing the car.

Why can't you just do it yourself? All you need is some floorjacks, a little welding. It is time consuming but not 'difficult' like rebuilding a trans or something. You put the rails in place weld / bolt them up, put some grease and thats about it? It's not nearly as difficult as rebuilding a 200r4 or something on that level.... People don't do this at the shop anymore because it goes from being a $500 dollar thing to a $1,000 dollar thing* is why...
