Hey guys, im looking for a set of H.I.D. headlights for my 1982 malibu wagon. i want them to be glass not plastic and bright but not so blue. any ideas? and also prices and how to install them? thanks for the input guys!!

]I was going to get cheap glass off ebay and a hid kit from here http://www.vvme.com/. I got hid from there probably about 8 years ago for my audi and still work perfectly. If you want nice glass in stead of cheap ones go with hella brand

I have been told the Hella is the way to go.

thank you, any ideas on installing them?

I always found tools helped..

The lenses install same as the sealed beams but install the hid bulbs in the lenses before you install them. The harnesses are plug and play so just follow the instructions. I cut the plugs off and soldered the wires and covered them with heat shrink instead of just using the plugs.

If you want to stay away from blue stay below 6000k. I have 4300 bi-xenon and I find them the best..I had 6000k before but the 4300k gives you more light, especially in the rain.

One other thing, they have the 55 watt kits out there. I tried them and they scatter the light. The reason they scatter the light is the ballast is 55 watts but they use 35 watt bulbs, that is why the kits is only a few $$ more. I did some research on this and the only company I found who does make 55 watt bulbs is Phillips and the price of their 55 watt bulb in in the $200 range.
