Sounds good to me, this is just the box on the fire wall correct? And is it a two pc (top and bottom section)? If so and it fits 83 El Camino, i am in.

there is a pick a part in pasadena on shaver street that has a early 80's cutlass in there with all the a/c stuff intact I seen it last weekend when I was there. It should be a direct replacement for your elkie

I know its been awhile but i did finally go to the pic a parts on wallisville, its closer, and found a couple matches. Even found a 79 el camino if anyone is looking. But scored bigtime on a 83 malibu station wagon. Will be going back for air conditioner and possible windshield later. 49.90 for heater core assembly, still looks pretty new to for its years. Was 130.00 on ebay.
