yeh i took it back and brought one from pepboys but i havent put it in because im not getting any power
Wait a minute, you do not have any starter installed right now? If not then that is why you don't have any power on the rest of the car.
Ding!DING!! When I last did my starter, I had no kind of power when I unhooked the starter. I'm guesing the starter cable is part of the power cycle. Interrupt it or take a piece out and the power cycle isnt complete. Im just stabbing at it. But this happened to me. Unhooked the starter and nothing.
Have you even cleaned up those bad grounds yet bruh? Man I would start from the basic, easy and obvious stuff. Those grounds didnt look good at all. Start there before installing the new starter. Make sure all you fuses are good. Check for any loose connections for grounds AND 12v power. OH! and please make sure the batter is unhooked bruh!
1. Clean all the ground wires up and make sure you have nice tight and CLEAN connections.
2 Clean all the power wire connections up.
3 Check all your fuses(get a test light so you dont have to pull each fuse) Check the prong to the right on the fuse. If you check the left tab on the fuse you wont get a true reading) The power comes in on the left I believe. If the fuse is blown the right tab gets no power.
4 Just put some plastic over the window or hit harbor freight up and get a $5 tarp.
5 Dont get frustrated bruh. Its somethin simple I bet. Take a lil break from it and chill. Then come back to it rested and with a clear mind. Its just a car. We will figure it out...
Im almost done with the front end. I had to do the same thing...Just walk away from it for a day or two. Having some probs getting the passenger spring installed. But after a nights rest, i'll hit it refreshed and sh*t will work out...Gotta keep a good attitude about it fam..
