Lower coolant hose stays cold

No offense but is the thermostat in the right direction.
None takin.. Lol
No it can only go in one way ..After much work even vacuumed filled it to make sure no air lock .. I believe it's just running right at the Thermostat operating point.. Will open then close real fast as the cold water in lower hose hits it . I think this is due to the big radiator and mechanical fan and colder temps currently here in Michigan.. But needless to say last week the water pump went bad and started leaking .. So it will be getting a new one anyway .. Lol .. And I got a new duel electric fan at work to put on so that will take care of both issues at once.. The only thing I can't change is the weather here in Michigan .. Lol

have you tried running with no thermostat to see if you get flow through the rad ??
No not at this point .. Radiator is new as that was the first thing I changed when I started this quest .. I will check block flow when I replace water pump but I'm getting great flow through heater core and the motor is same temp on both sides per the laser thermometer and thermal couplers and the engine never overheats I will install another temp sensor in pass head from my Dakota cluster swap just to have readings on both sides... I'm hoping the elec cooling fans and warm weather will be the fix 😉 .. Come on spring / summer
